What is this!?

What is Dirt Bags? We are a company striving to produce new and innovative outdoor bags for all sorts of sports and adventures.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kurt Matthews - I am a sports photographer based in Rotorua, New Zealand (www.kurtmatthewsphotography.com). I love the outdoors, crazy adventures and dabble in a bit of running.

I'm one of those people that likes to pack a lot gear on adventures, usually this involves a lot of photography equipment (even though I don't end up using most of it) but quite often I end up getting annoyed at my unorganized packing and bags that are frustrating. So I have decided to start a company designing and selling bags that I feel fill a gap in the market and will help people like myself.

The first product that I will be offering is a gear/crew bag for ultra-marathons. This came from seeing a lot of people at aid stations with a jumble of all sorts of bags and gear, getting frustrated at their crew that can't find that specific flavoured gel, or favourite electrolyte. It also helps ensure that you have all the required equipment before an event, as everything is organized and easy to identify.

The bag is designed to be tough and durable. Made from 1000D PVC material it is super tough and water-resistant!. This bag can be dropped in the mud, left in the rain and you will still have a much needed clean and dry set of clothes at that much-needed aid station mid miler.

Customizable interior, removable dividers to create the custom layout you need. two pairs of shoes 4 bottles, this bag can fit it all. clear pockets in the lid for gels or first aid equipment, mesh pockets on the lid for headlamps and strapping tape plus plenty of room for food!.

A hidden mesh pocket unzips from the bottom of the bag. This is for those post ultra shoes and clothes, don't stink out the rest of your bag (but be careful in a friend's car!) and put those muddy wet shoes in this specialized pocket.

We are always open to new ideas and welcome comments and ideas for upcoming or existing products, please sign up to the newsletter for news and new products (we promise we won't spam you!).

Happy Trails!
